風險無所不在，企業從生產製造到營運管理，都必須要控制與管理風險，尤其近年來企業經營的外在環境存在著愈來愈多的不確定性，更是需要強化風險控管的觀念。本課程主要將介紹企業從生產製造到營運管理的規劃與執行過程中，所可能遭遇到的風險認定、評估、分析與處理方法，詳細課程內容將包括介紹企業營運的不確定性、風險及風險管理的定義、風險識別、風險評估、工程風險、工程經濟以及一些風險控管的技術，其目的是希望學生能具備風險管理應有的知識與技術，並能以系統工程的觀點來解決企業營運中所可能面臨的各種風險。
The objectives of risk management are to maximize the likelihood of favorable outcomes, and to minimize the likelihood of unfavorable outcomes. Aiming to manage risk and reliability of process plants, this course has the following features:
